The Peace and Love Young Farmers Association (PLYFA) is a legally registered, non-profit organization operating in Ghana. Established as a Limited by Guarantee (LBG) under the Trustees (Perpetual Succession) Act 2019 (Act 992), PLYFA serves as a charitable partner and networking body for individual young farmers and the farming communities across Ghana.

PLYFA is one of the largest agricultural charitable organisations in Ghana dedicated to provide training, workshop, internship and fundings to young people who have love for agriculture and agribusiness.


PLYFA is led by young people, for young people, our Young Farmers' Association provide their members with a unique opportunity to develop skills through training, workshops and internship, work with their young farmers, local farming communities, and funding support opportunities for members and new entrants.

Our Mission

Peace and Love Young Farmers Association (PLYFA) is dedicated to poverty alleviation and environmental stewardship. We empower Ghanaian youth through hands-on training in sustainable agricultural techniques, climate adaptation strategies, and agribusiness development to ensure long-term socio-economic stability.

Our Vision

To be the leading catalyst for agricultural innovation in Africa, fostering a world where farming is a dignified, profitable, and environmentally regenerative profession for all young people.

PROMOTING ORGANIC FARMING FOR SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
Organic farming has emerged as a promising solution to promote environmentally friendly farming practices.

Organic farming emphasizes the importance of natural processes, biodiversity, and the avoidance of synthetic chemicals, thus promoting long-term agricultural sustainability.

PLYFA is encouraging farmers to push more attention to organic farming by providing funded training and financial support to them. PLYFA educate farmers on organic farming practices, such as crop rotation, soil fertility management, and pest control.

FOOD LOSS MINIMIZE WASTE
PLYFA promotes food quality from the farm to consumers. PLYFA support our local farmers and farming communities on advanced post-harvest technologies to avoid food losses and spoilage.



FOOD QUALITY
PLYFA provides frequent training on improved farming techniques, crop breeding, and soil management to farmers and farmer workers to enhance food quality from the farm.

EDUCATION ON ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
We are committed to provide education to our farmers on sustainable practices. PLYFA promote and encourage environmentally friendly farming for a healthier planet. PLYFA is supporting local farmers across Ghana to plant 500 hectares of trees in our fight against climate change.
